Subject;. Safeguards Regulatory Effectiveness Review at the Three Mile Island 1 Nuclear Power Station My letter of May 9,1986, notified you of an NRC Regulatory Effectiveness Review (RER) which will be conducted at TMI Unit 1 between June 9-13, 1986.
I was recently advised that two individuals from NRC's Office of Inspector and Auditor will accompany the RER Team during that review as part of e routine audit of the RER program.
The individuals are identified in an enclosure to this letter only.
Because the enclosure contains the social security numbers of the individuals, access to it should be limited.
