The Commission met with the staff to discuss the issuance of a full power license for Catawba Nuclear Station, Unit 2.

The following representatives of the licensee and owners partic-ipated in the discussion:

Tucker Vice President Nuclear Production Duke Power Company James W. Hampton, Station Manager Duke Power Company D. Cameron North Carolina Municipal Power Agency J. Bauer Piedmont Municipal Power Agency The Commission voted 4-0* to authorize the staff to issue a full power license for Catawba, Unit 2, subject to conditions that may be imposed by the staff.
