The Commission met with the staff to discuss the issuance of a full power license for Catawba Nuclear Station, Unit 2.

The following representatives of the licensee and owners partic-ipated in the discussion:

I Hal B. Tucker Vice President Nuclear Production Duke Power Company James W. Hampton, Station Manager Duke Power Company ,

D. Cameron North Carolina Municipal Power Agency J. Bauer Piedmont Municipal Power Agency The Commission voted 4-0* to authorize the staff to issue a full power license for Catawba, Unit 2, subject to conditions that may be imposed by the staff.
