Enclosed is a copy of Revision 24 of the Waterford 3 Emergency Plan (Enclosure 1) which is submitted in accordance with 10CFR50.54(q). The plan was approved and implemented on December 2,1998. This submittal is provided under affidavit per requirements of 10CFR50.
The changes to the Waterford 3 Emergency Plan made by Revision 24 do not decrease the effectiveness of the plan. Furthermore, the plan, as changed, continues to meet the standards of 10CFR50.47(b) and the requirements of Appendix E to 10CFR50. Enclosed is a summary of Revision 24 (Enclosure 2).
Please note that pages A-7-26 and 1-11 of the Emergency Plan contain radio frequencies which are considered personalinformation. The pages with the personal information are enclosed as Enclosure 3; it is requested that this information be withheld from the public pursuant to 10CFR2.790. Enclosure 1 contains no personal information and may be considered a public copy of the Emergency Plan.
