SUBJECT: NRC INSPECTION REPORT 50-361/98-20; 50-369'98-20
Dear Mr. Ray:
From December 7-11,1998, a routine radiological environmental monitoring program inspection
was conducted at your San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, Units 2 and 3 reactor facilities.
The enclosed report presents the scope and results of that inspection.
The inspector determined that the radiological environmental and meteorological monitoring
programs were effectively implemented.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its
enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR).
