NRC Region I Combined Inspection Report Nos. 50-317/92-12 and
50-318/92-12 (March 29,1992 to April 25,1992)
This report transmits the findings of the safety inspection conducted by the resident inspectors
at the Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant. At the conclusion of the inspection, these findings
were discussed with Mr. Denton of your staff.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I Inspection Report
which is enclosed with this letter and were selected in order to ensure that your facility is
operated with due regard for the public health and safety. Within these areas, the inspection
consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews with
_ personnel, and observations by the inspectors. Overal', we have coacluded that your facility
was operated in a safe manner.
