Kovach Nuclear Licensing Manager Opus West III 1400 Opus Place Downers Grove, IL 60515 This acknowledges receipt of your letter dated April 3,1992, which transmitted changes identified as Revisi " 'O to the Quad Citics Station Security Plan submitted under the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54(p).
We have reviewed the submitted changes and have determined that they are consistent with the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54(p) and ce therefore acceptabl(1, except as noted in the enclosure to this letter.
The items determined to be unacceptable have been discussed with NRC Headquarters (NRR/RSGB).
Ycu are requested to provide corrections to your security plan to address the issues identified in the enclosure within two months af ter receipt of this letter. You may submit the changes either in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(p) or 10 CFR 50.90.
The enclosure to this letter concerns a subject matter which is exempt from disclosure according to Part 73, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, Section 73.21(c)(2).
Consequently, the enclosure to this letter will not be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
The enclosure to your letter also contained Safeguards Information of a type specified in 10 CFR 73.21 and is being withheld from public. disclosure.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of this letter, excluding the enclosure, will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
