This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Dr. Jin W. Chung of
this office on March 31-April 16, 1986, at Haddam Neck Atomic Power Plant, East
Haddam, Connecticut, of activities authorized by NRC License No. DPR-61 and to
'
the discussions of our findings held by Dr. Chung and J. Delawrence of your
staff at the conclusion of the inspection, and to a subsequent telephone
discussion between Dr. Chung and J. Delawrence on April 16, 1986.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the
inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative
records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
