7590-01-P UNITED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION PECO ENERGY COMPANY DOCKET NOS. 50 277 AND 50 278 NOTICE OF WITHDRAWAL OF APPLICATION FOR AMENDMENTS TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSES The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Commission) has grant PECO Energy Company (the licensee) to withdraw its May 5,1997, applica amendments to Facility Operating Ucense Nos. DPR-44 and DPR-56 for Peach Power Station, Units 2 and 3, located in York County, Pennsylvania.
The proposed amendments would have involved an unreviewed safe and modified the facility, as described in the Updated Final Safety Analysis R replacing the suction strainers for emergency core cooling system.
