The purpose of this letter is to confirm commitments made in a phone call between Ken Ainger of your staff and Bob Warnick of my staff on May 14, 1986.
A thirty day extension was requested by Mr. Ainger and granted by Mr. Warnick for Commonwealth Edison Company to respond to my letter of May 6,1986, transmitting a proposed $100,000 civil penalty. The extension was requested because of the complexity of the enforcement action. Your response is due July 5, 1986.
