Dear Mr. Denten:
Attached please find seven copies of the Design Review and Quality Revalidation (DR/QR) Report, Revision 1, for the Transamerica Delaval diesel generators at the Catawba Nuclear Station. The report was specifically written for the Unit 1 diesel engines.- However, since all of the diesel generators are the same model, the report applies to both Unit 1 and Unit 2 diesel generators.
A proposed plan for implementation of the DR/QR maintenance and surveillance recommendations was previously submitted on June 21, 1985.
