GENERIC LETTER 83-28 CONCERNING THE SALEM ATWS EVENT We have partially completed our review of your responses dated November 8, 1983 and February 1,1984 to our Generic Letter 83-28 concerning the Salem ATWS Event. Enclosed is our SER evaluating the following action items:
(1) Actions 3.1.1 and 3.1.2, Fost-Maintenance Testing (Reactor Trip System Components).
(2) Actions 3.2.1 and 3.2.2, Post-Maintenance Testing (Ali other Safety Related Components).
(3) Action 4.1, Reactor Trip System Reliability (Vendor-Related Modifications).
(4) Action 4.5.1, Reactor Trip System Reliability (System Functional Testing).
Based on the enclosed SER, we conclude that you have complied with Actions 3.1.1, 3.1.2, 3.2.1, 3.2.2, 4.1, and 4.5.1 of Generic Letter 83-28 for TMI-1.
