Cook Nucicar Plant NPDES Permit No, MI 0005827 Steam Generator Blowdown While in the process of returning Unit 2 to service, a steam generator blow-down sample taken at 2200 hours0.0255 days <br />0.611 hours <br />0.00364 weeks <br />8.371e-4 months <br /> on October 19, 1985 had a suspended solids concentration of 2442 PPM.

The elevated solids level is most likely the result of the recent cleaning of the Unit 2 steam generators. The unit has been idle since August 24, 1985.

By copy of this letter, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission is notified pursuant to the requirements of Appendix B, Part II, Nonradiological, Environmental Protection Plan Section 3.2.
