On August 17,1995, the NRC issued GL 95-07, which requested licensees to take actions to i
ensure those safety-related gate valves that are susceptible to pressure lockir'a on thermal binding are capablo of performing their safety functions. The NRC staff has completed its evaluation of the information you provided in your response dated February 13,1996, as supplemented June 19,1996. Based on the review of your submittals, we find that you have.
adequately addrer.ied the actions requested in GL 95-07, as delineated in the enclosed safety evaluation.
This completes our effort on this issue and we are, therefore, closing out TAC Nos. M93479 and M93480.
