REPORT NOS. 50-327/86-13 AND 50-328/86-13
On February 18-28, 1986, NRC inspected activities authorized by NRC Operating
License Nos. DPR-77 and DPR-79 for your Sequoyah facilities.
At the conclusion
of the inspection, the findings were discussed with those members of your staff
identified in the enclosed inspection report.
Areas examined during the inspection are identified in the report. Within these
areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and
representative records, interviews with personnel, and observation of activities
in progress.
The inspectors also conducted independent NDE examinations,
utilizing the Region I NDE van at your site, to verify the adequacy of your
reinspection plan for welding related activities and to determine the adequacy of
the process used for dispositioning the examination results.
Within the scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were identified.
Your attention is invited to unresolved items identified it the inspection
report. These matters will be pursued during future inspectic,ns.
