9 Attachment to TXX 97249 Page 1 of 12 TU ELECTRIC COMANCHE PEAK STEAM ELECTRIC STATION UNIT 2 SPECIAL REPORT NO, 2 SR 97 003 00 UNIT 2 THIRD REFUELING OUTAGE STEAM GENERATOR INSERVICE INSPECTION TUBE PLUGGING Pursuant to CPSES Technical Specifications 4.0.6.5b and 6.9.2, this Special Report is to provide the results of the Unit 1 Wm generator eddy current inservice inspection during Unit 2 third ref:'aling outagi (2RF03).
The initial-scope of the inspection included 40 percent full length multi-frequency bobbin coil and 20 percent hot leg tup of tubesheet Rotating Pancake Coil (RPC) (+ Point /0.115/0.000HF) on steam generators 1 and 4.
On steam generators 2 and 3 the scope was 100 percent fall length multi frequency bobbin coil and 20 percent hot leg top of tubesheet RPC (+ point /0.115/0.080HF).
Additional scope fr? all four steam generators included 20 percent of row I and 2 U bends using RPC (+ point), 20 percent of the expanded baffle plate 8 and D intersections in the cold leg preheater using RPC (+ Point /0.115/0.080HF), dents greater than or equal to 5 volts at H3 using RPC (+ Point /0.115/0.080HF), a sampling of dents greater than or equal to 5 volts up to H11 using RPC
(+ Point /0.115/0.080HF), and all previous indications, manufacturing buff marks (HBMs), and dents using bobbin coil. Additionally, RPC (+ Point / 0.115/0.080HF) was utilized to assist in characterizing ambiguous bobbin coil signals.
The scope was expanded to an additional 20 percent full length bobbin on steam generator 1 due to the detection of a pluggable AVB wear indication.
A loose part was detected in Steiam Generator 1 and confirmed visually with a camera video probe. The part was retrieved by installing a new secondary side 4
inspection port at the location of the part.
