Dear Mr. Zeringue:

On December 5,1997, the NPC staff met in the Region 11 office with representatives of Tennessee Valley Authority's (TVA) Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant.

The purpose of this meeting was for TVA to discuss the results of their self assessment in the areas of operations, maintenance, engineering, and plant suport. is a list of the individuals who attended the meeting, and Enclosure 2 contains a copy of the material supplied by the licensee at the meeting.

In accordance with Section 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice." Part 2.
