Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station Docket No. 50-219 Technical Specification Change Request No.123 GPU Nuclear Corporation, operator of the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station, Provisional Operating License No. DPR-16 requests a change to Section 4.3 of the Technical Specifications.

The subject Technical Specification Change Request revises the Inservice Inspection (ISI) and Inservice Testing (IST) requirements of Section 4.3 to reflect the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's recommended wording for these requi rements. The revised text refers to 10 CFR 50.55a and the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code,Section XI for specific details. Previously submitted ISI and IST programs delineate specific requirements as they apply to Oyster Creek.

Technical Specification Change Request No.123 has been reviewed and approved by the Plant Review Group (PRG) and has received an Independent Safety Review (ISR) in accordance with Section 6.5 of the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station Technical Specifications.
