Gentlemen:
SUBJECT:
Control Room Habitability Omaha Public Power District (0 PPD) presented in Reference 3, information related to the control room iodine monitor RM-065, and stuted that a design change is being processed to actuate RM-065 from the Ventilation Isolation Actuation Signal (VIAS).
Since that time, additional work on the design of other improvements to the Fort Calhoun Station Control room HVAC system have been reviewed.
Additional conversations with A. Bournia and the technical reviewers have been held. Until such time as OPPD is prepared to discuss the proposed final design, at has been requested that we provide confirmation concerning the modification to RM-065.
The purpose of this letter is to confirm that the modification to connect RM-065 to VIAS will be completed by the end of 1988.
