We have reviewed your response dated July 10.-1985 to our letter cated June 11, 1985 and have the following. comments:

We will be unable to to issue your license until you have finalized your i
selection of a site for your licensed activities and have submitted a-j revised facility description. to our office.
2.
Please supplement your response to Item 8 of our letter dated June 11, 1985 l
with what measures you intend to take to minimize the off-site hazard in the event of a fire.
If you intend to rely solely on fire extinguishers as l
your first line of response, please:

describe the minimum number of operable fire extinguishers you will j
have on hand.

describe what special precautions / facility design considerations you j
will employ to minimize the off-site hazard should a fire start during j
off-duty hours or at times when staffing is minimal ~.
describe what means you will-use to keep the local fire' department i

advised of the potential hazards associated with containing fires that 1

present some radiological hazard.. Some fonn'of periodic training which.
i reviews your own emergency procedures as well as the' significance of j
warning signs and the use of radiological safety enufpment, etc. would be acceptable.
