SALP for San Onofre (10/01/84 through 03/31/86)
Reference (1) extended the ending date of the San Onofre SALP period to May 31, 1986 to permit assessment of licensee actions in response to the Unit I water hammer event and IIT report within one SALP period.
Reference (2), which established the San Onofre SALP Board and provided instructions regarding the conduct and preparation of the SALP report inputs, remains in effect.
In view of the two-month extension of the SALP period, performar~e analyses are to be submitted to Paul Narbut by June 10, 1986.
The SALP Board will convene in the Region V office at 8:10 am on July 10, 1986.
By copy of this memorandum, the Director, Office of Investigations, San Francisco Field Office, is requested to provide (by June 10, 1986) c cummary of major investigative activities involving San Onofre (through May 31, 1986) and their results.
