NRC Notification of State of Louisiana re. Waterford Steam Electric Station License Amendments - Changes to Technical Specifications
Dear Ms. Wiley (and Mr. Dauzat and Mr. Schexnayder),
As a follow-up to our phone call today, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is preparing to issue license amendments for the Waterford Steam Electric Station, Unit 3. In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Section 50.91(b), I am notifying you of the proposed issuance of these amendments.
Please reply if the State of Louisiana has comments on the following requested licensing action submitted to the NRC by Entergy Operations, Inc. (the licensee): Application for Technical Specification Change to Control Room Air Conditioning System, by letter W3F1-2019-0047 dated August 27, 2019, as supplemented by letter W3F1-2020-0014 dated March 20, 2020 (NRC Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession Nos. ML19239A429 and ML20080L845, respectively).
The proposed no significant hazards consideration for this amendment request was published in the Federal Register on December 17, 2019 (84 FR 68951).
