Dear Mr. Papanic:
The Comission has issued the enclosed Amendment No.111 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-3 for the Yankee Nuclear Power Station (Yankee) in partial response to your application of January 5, 1988 and as supplemented March 11, 1988.
Your application included four requested changes in the administrative controls for Yankee. This license acendment will deal only with one of the requests, as described below.
The remaining three requests will be part of a future action.
The amendment removes the requirement for the Plant Operations Manager to maintain a Senior Reactor Operator's license from the Technical Specifications.
A copy of our related Safety Evaluation is also enclosed. A Notice of issuance will be included in the Comission's, next regular biweekly Federal Register notice.
