USAR Update This letter forwards thirteen copies of an update to the Fort Calhoun Station Unit No.1 Updated Safety Analysis Report (USAR).
Copies #4, 12, and 13 have been sent to their respective copy holders.
This update addresses organizational changes at Omaha Public Power Dis.trict (0 PPD) and revises Section 9, Section 12, Appendix A, and Appendix E of the USAR.
Section 9 references Section 12 for fire protection program organizational responsibilities.
Appendix E has been incorporated into Section 12, while Section 12 and Appendix A have been revised and expanded.
The update package is being submitted prior to the annual USAR update to support a proposed Technical Specification (TS) revision.
The proposed TS revision, contained in References 2 and 3, deletes the organizational charts from the TS.
The information contained on these charts is being placed in the USAR, which ensures that this information will still be controlled by the provisions of 10 CFR 50.59 and 10 CFR 50.71.
The organizational changes are scheduled to become effective July 1,1988, with 30 days allowed for procedural implementation, etc.
