FOR FACILITY-1 CPDF AND FACILITY-2 OLIVER SPRINGS DOCKETS 50-603 AND 50-604

1. Describe your company's organizational structure (provide an organizational chart), including each subsidiary, division, department and joint venture; identify the responsible officials of each subsidiary, division, department and joint venture and identify the product or service produced'by each subsidiary, division, etc. (Identify by use, not chemical structure.)

a. Where no product or service has yet to be produced, describe the product or service to be produced from the relevant subsidiary, ,

division, etc.

2. Provide names and addresses of existing manufacturers of the products and/or services AlChemIE contemplates supplying. If no firm now produces these products, so state and provide an estimate of the names of potential manufactures of these products that may enter the market in the next five years,

a. List both domestic and foreign manufacturers and designate each accordingly.

3. Describe briefly the steps that a person (firm) not currently producing the products listed in response to Item 1 above would be required to take, and the order in which they would occur, to begin commercial production and sale of said products in the United States,

a. To the extent these steps would differ in producing the product for foreign consummation, so designate.

b. For each step described above, provide an estimate of the total time and dollar expenditures that would be required to accomplish that step in the most efficient manner.

4. Separately for each product identified in response to Item 1, describe in detail the distribution process, including whether sales are made directly to customers or through middlemen, whether your company submits bids for sales and the length of typical contracts.

5. What production cost advantage (s) accrued to AlchemIE, if any, through the contemplated purchase of existing manufacturing facilities presently owned by the Department of Energy?

6. Provide annual sales estimates for AlchemIE (in U.S. dollars) for each of.

the products described in Item 1 for each of the years 1988-1992.

7. Provide annual sales figures for total revenues (U.S. dollars) generated by all manufacturers, domestic and foreign, for each of the products described in Item 1 for 1987 and annual estimates for each of the years 1988-1992,

a. Segregate domestic and foreign figures where applicable,

b. State what your company believes to be the geographic market in which your company competes or contemplates competing in each product described in Item 1.
