NPDES Monitoring Report San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, Unit 3 The SON 33 monitoring report covering the month of January is submitted in accordance with the requirements of CRWQCB Order 85-13 (NPDES Permit No.

CA0108181).

A sum ary of the generating unit's status and significant analytical results is provided below.

The unit was in operation with the exception of January 17 throu6h 26.

All sampled water sources were found to be within permit limits, except the BPS sump discharge, which was high in total suspended solids.

Evaluation / codification of procedures is in progress to prevent recurrence.

Pursuant to order No. 85-13, Reporting Requirement 12, your letter dated June 25, 1985, authorizes the following representative (s) to sign and certify all reports required by this order: Arthur Kneisel, Environmental Engineer.

I certify under penalty of law that I have personally examined and am familiar with the information submitted in the attached document, and based on my inquiry of those individuals immediately responsible for obtaining the information, I believe the submitted information is true, accurate, and complete.
