Docket Nos. 50-361 and 50-362, Emergency Loading of the Emergency Diesel Generators, San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, Units 2 and 3 This letter withdraws the May 31, 1996 request for NRC approval of a change to the design bases for the San Onofre Units 2 and 3 emergency diesel generators (EDGs) (reference). This change would affect the minimum EDG terminal voltage j
which Southern California Edison (SCE) is currently committed to maintain at all times during load sequencing. SCE will be evaluating this issue further and may consider resubmitting this request as an amendment application at some point in the future.
