We have received the enclosed Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) correspondence dated October 14,1998, transmitting the FEMA final evaluation report for the March 18,1998 Emergency Preparedness Exercise at the LaSalle Nuclear Gerierating Station.

No deficiencies were identified during the exercise. There was one Areas Requiring Corrective Action (ARCA) identified for LaSalle County, We fully recognize that any corrective actions to be implemented may involve parties and pclitical institutions which are not under your direct control. Nonetheless, we expect that l
assistance, if appropriate, will be extended.
