The Comission has issued the enclosed Amendment No.143 to Facility Operating License No. NPF-1 for the Trojan Nuclear Plant. The amendn=nt cor.::1:;ts of changes to the Technical Specifications in response to ycur application (LCA 163) dated February 17, 1988.

The amendment revises Trojan Technical Specification Section 3/4.3.3.10, "Radioactive Liquid Effluent Instrumentation," by adding two new instruments for monitoring steam generator blowdown liquid effluent discharge.

A copy of the related Safety Evaluation it also enclosed. The notice of issuance will be included in the Commission's next regular bi-weekly Federal Register notice.
