Subject:

McGuire Nuclear Station Docket Nos. 50-369 and 50-370 Semi-Annual Radioactive Effluent Release Report Gentlemen:

Pursuant to McGuire Technical Specification 6.9.1.7, attached is the Subject Re-port for the period of July,1987 to December 1987. contains a summary of effluent monitoring equipment which was out of service in excess of the time allowed by McGuire's Technical Specifications.

Also enclosed are Control Copy Numbers 26-31 of Revisions 6 and 7 of McGuire's Process Control Program. Copy Number 22 of each of these revisions are also being sent to Region II, by copy of tais letter.

As a result of radiation releases from McGuire Nuclear Station, no member of the public received an annual calculated dose exceeding those set forth in 40CFR Part 190.

This determination was made considering that there are no other fuel cycle facilities nearby which would significantly increams the dose to any member of the public.
