This refers to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) inspection conducted t,y
H. Whitener on October 24-28, 1988.
The inspection included a review o.'

activities authorized for your Vogtle Unit 2 facility. At the conclusion of
the inspection, the findings were discus.,td with those members of your staff
identifie,d in the enclosed Inspection Report.
Areas a v.i sd during the inspection are identified in the report. Within
these areas, the inspection con;isted of selective examinations of procedure,
and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observation of
activities in progress.
Within the scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were
identified.
In accordance with Section 2.790 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," Part 2,
Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter and its enclosure
will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
