Thank you for your submittal of changes to the LACBWR Quality Assurance Program, Revision 6 (LAC-12656), transmitted by letter dated November 15, 1988.
We have reviewed the organization changes, which includes the fire protection responsibility now assigned to the Technical Support Engineer. Based on our review and discussions between Mr. T. Vandel of my staff and Mr. R. Wery of your staff, we find that the revised program meets the requirements of 10 CFR Part 50, Appendix B as it applies to a possession only mode of operation, and i is therefore acceptable. '
If there are changes to other operative QA commitments existing in docketed correspondence outside of the 8.ACBWR Quality Assurance Program Description.
you are obligated to notify this office. Implementing such changes should be based on 10 CFR 50.54(a)(3) er 10 CFR S0.55 (f)(3) as appropriate.
