The NRC recently received an allegation concerning activities at the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Plant. Details of this allegation are provided as an enclosure for your review and followup.
Because this matter does not involve a potential violation of NRC regulatory requirements, no response to this letter is necessary. However, should your investigation identify a potential safety or regulatory issue, then a response is requested.
The enclosure to this letter is considered exempt from disclosure according to Section 2.790 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice", Part 2 Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, and will not be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
