Our approach to incorporate this change in SNM-1168 was also outlined in Reference 2 and a subsequent letter of consent was issued as Reference 3.
This company name change will require the following pages from SNM-1168 to be revised:
Section I, Pages 2, 3, and 4 and Section V, Page 1.
These pages are dated January 13, 1988 and are included as Attachment I.

' Commercial Nuclear Fuel Plant (CNFP)
The B&W Fuel Company has constructed facilities at the Lynchburg, Virginia site for the purpose of fabricating fuel assemblies for commercial utility nuclear reactors (see Figures 1 and 2).
Utilizing relatively low (< 4.05%) enriched uranium oxides, pellets will be fabricated, fuel rods loaded, and reactor fuel assemblies fabricated.
The fuel assemblies will not be assembled into a core at this facility.
Shipment to utilities will be made in NRC approved shipping containers.

operating the Commercial Nuclear Fuel Plent of the B&W Fuel Company at the Mount Athos site, Lynchburg, Virginia in compliance with ap-plicable Federal Regulations promulgated by the USNRC for the safe handling of nuclear materials.
Sections III and IV provide the bases for these conditions.
