W. G. Counsil Letter TXX-88556 to NRC dated July 8, 1988 Gentlemen:
The referenced letter provided TU Electric's initiel response to six action items in NRC Bulletin 88-04, "Potential Safety-Related Pump Loss."
In that letter, we indicated our evaluation of the identified safety-related systems and pumps for Unit 1 and Common would be completed by December 1, 1988.
This evaluation will take longer than previously anticipated. Consequently, the current schedule for completion of the Unit 1 and Common evaluation is February 13, 1989.
The Unit 2 evaluation is still scheduled to be completed prior to Unit 2 fuel load.
TV Electric will provide a written res)onse describing the actions taken within 30 days of completion of the a)ove evaluations.
