10 CFR 50.49 EQUIPMENT QUALIFICATION INSPECTION, HOPE CREEK NUCLEAR POWER PLANT (50-354/88-03)
This letter confirms the dates of January 25 - 29, 1988 for the NRC 10 CFR 50.49 equipment qualification (EQ) inspection of Hope Creek.
These dates were established during a conference call on January 13, 1988 between Mr. R. Donges of your organization and Mr. R. Paolino of the NRC Region I office. The inspection will take place at the Hope Creek site in Hancocks Bridge, New Jersey.
A nanagement entrance meeting is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on January 25, 1988.
The management exit meeting is tentatively scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on January 29, 1988.
The inspection will include the following:
1.
Review of your implementation of 10 CFR 50.49 EQ program, including preservation of qualified status of equipment.
2.
Review of your implementation of Technical Evaluation Report / Safety Evaluation Report E0 corrective action commitments.
3.
Review of EQ documentation files.
4.
Physical inspection of equipment from the Master List.
One week prior to the inspection we will require one copy of each document identified in attachment I with a plus (+) mark.
