REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION PERRY NUCLEAR POWER PLANT UNIT 1 l I

1 Section 4.1.5 of the Perry Technical Specifications for the. Reactivity Control l Systems contains a Surveillance Requirement that states that both standby i liquid control system (SLCS) pumps will be operated during periodic tests of the system. Describe the pre-operational or periodic testing of both pumps  ;

simultaneously to assure that a to*11 flowrate of 82.4 gpm can be achieved l against full reactor operating pressure without lifting of the SLCS pump relief valve.  !
