DOCKET NOS. 50-445 AND 50-446 NRC COMPLIANCE BULLETIN N0. 87-02:
FASTENER TESTING TO DETERMINE CONFORMANCE WITH APPLICABLE MATERIAL SPECIFICATIONS
Dear Mr. Martin:
The subject Compliance Bulletin required that CPSES provide information within 60 days concerning receipt inspection and internal control procedures for fasteners and results of independent testing of fe.steners.
CPSES has developed and is implementing a plan which incorporates all required elements of Compliance Bulletin No. 87-02.
The plan includes discussion of receipt inspection techniques and procedures, fastener sampling plan, testing requirements, testing and further evaluation, if required.
Sampling and testing methods have taken longer than expected. We anticipate that all actions to comply with bulletin requirements will be completed no later than February 11, 1988.
