As requested by letter from W. E. Cline, NRC/ Region II, sutject as above, dated May 20, 1988, please find attached the Duke Power Company response to the violations. Violations (50-369/88-11-01 and 50-370/88-11-01), failure to maintain required compensatory measures in place and (50-369/88-11-03 and 50-370/88-11-03), admitting unbadged persons to the PA were licensee identified events taken by the inspector from the station non-compliance log during the course of the NRC inspection.
The NRC/ Region II inspection was conducted by J. D. Ennis during the period of April 18-22, 1988.
The attached material is applicable to the security provisions at McGuire Nuclear Station; therefore, Duke requests that this material be withheld from public disclosure pursuant to 10 CFR 73.21.
