McGuire Nuclear Station committed to the conversion of the McGuire Technical Specifications to the new Improved Technical Specification (ITS) format on August 15,1995 via M. S. Tuckman letter. The ITS submittal was transmitted to the NRC on May 27,1997. McGuire support work in preparation for ITS implementation began in May,1997. NRC ONRR approved and issued the ITS amendment on September 30,1998 via letter by Mr. Frank Rinaldi, ONRR Project Manager.
McGuire Nuclear Station implemented the Standardized Technical Specifications on November 14,1998.
