Waterford 3 SES Docket No. 50-382 License No. NPF-38 Main Steam Isolation Valve Louisiana Power & Light Company has completed our final report on the Main Steam Isolation Valve Cuide Rail failure. Our evaluation concludes that the valve remained operable even with the guide rails missing.

Due to the generic applications of similar type valves throughout the industry and to provide the commission with the detailed information on the failure , we are forwarding a copy of the June 20, 1988 report. ,
