A routine safety inspection was conducted by Mr. H. Bicehouse of this office
on May 5-9, 1986, of the water chemistry control program at Millstone Nuclear
Power Station, Unit 3.
Our findings were discussed with Messrs. J. Crockett
and J. Kangley of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection on
May 9, 1986.

The areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the
inspection consisted of selective examination of procedures and representative
records, interviews with personnel and observations by the inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations or deviations were noted.
