This refers to your September 6, 1988, letter requesting permission to operate the University of Utah TRIGA reactor. As you know, we plan to be at your i
i facility October 5-6, 1988, to review physical security plan matters. Also, I
during this period we will review your corrective actions regarding restart of the To. IGA reactor. Based on our inspection findings, a decision will be made concerning restart of the reactor.
If no significant problems are identified, we anticipate that permission to operate the reactor could b6 g anted on or soon after October 7, 1988.
