1-A CP-EI-4.0-67 Cable Tray Hanger As-Designed and As-Built Drawing Developnent 1-B WES-29 " Welding Specification for Field Fabrication and Erection of Structural Steel 1-C CP-EP-4.0 Design Control 2.0 GEtERAL 2.1 PURPOSE This procedure outlines basic responsibilities and tasks for the develognent of "as-built" weld map drawings for Cable Tray Hangers.
We purpose is to define:
(a) We process by which "as-built" weld information on individual hangers is recorded (b)
Responsible individuals (c) How the "as-built" weld information is verified.
(d) How the "as-built" weld information is transfered on drraings This procedure is applicable to the activities for the develognent of "as-built" weld for Cable Tray Hangers. Wis procedure is established to assure implementation of the applicable p rtions of Ref. 1-C.

'Ihis instruction shall apply to a selected sample of Class 1E Cable Tray Hangers located in the following Unit No. 1 buildings:
(a)
Reactor Building (b) Safeguard Building (c) Auxiliary & Electrical Control Buildings 1
(d) Diesel Generator Building (e) Fuel Handling Building Excluded frczn the above are the Cable Spread Rocra and yard structures.
2.3 GENERAL PROGRAM DESCRIPTION "As-built" drawing generated during walkdown per Ref.1-A is used to produce a duplicate wash-off mylar. 'Ihis mylar will be used to produce the Cable Tray Hanger "AS-Built" Weld Map Drawing for "As-Built" weld verification.
(a) Unit #1 CIH Group will issue Cable Tray Hanger "As-Built weld map drawing to DCC.
(b) 'Ihe Paper Flow Group shall stamp on the Cable Tray Hanger "As-Built" Weld Map Drawing a verification stamp as shown below under the " Notes" section.

Civil Engineer is responsible for providing technical direction and administrative guidance to the CPP Civil Engineering Organization of which the Unit 1 CrH Special Analysis Group is a part.
W e CTH Program Manager is responsible for ensuring activities i
within the purpose and scope of this instruction are completed in accordance with the measures described herein.
S e CIHABC is responsible for implementing this instruction. We C'IHABC shall coordinate the assembly and transmittal of "as-built" packages, interface activities, and establish and maintain adequate tracking mechanisms or logs to assure positive control of all activities described within this instruction.
When specific individuals are designated by title in this instruction, it shall be assumed that the designee may act in that capacity. Documentation of such designation shall be maintained within the Cable Tray Hanger Group.

3.0 Ihnu.nON 3.1 INITIATION 3.1.1 General Once the Cable Tray Hanger "as-built" weld map drawing is prepared, the CIHABC shall initiate and coordinate the "as-built" weld walkdown by welding technician and verification by QC inspector.

3.2.1 Acceptance Criteria The length of weld shall have + 1/4 tolerance in dimensions and weld size will not have any tolerance other than that allowed in the welding procedures (Reference 1-B).
s-3.2.2 "As-Built" Weld Walkdown

3.2.2.1 W e wlding technician shall request the Unit #1 Cable Tray Hanger "As-Built" welding map drawing frm the Paper Flow Group and mark on the drawing in red ink the "As-Built" weld size, type and length for each CTH joints. On empletion of "As-Built" weld mapping, welding technician shall sign off and date on appropriate box on drawing.

'Ibe QC inspector shall verify the welds on Cable Tray Hanger "As-Built" Weld Map Drawing received frm the Paper Flow Group.
'e-Any deviation between the weld size and length marked in red ink on

the drawing shall be noted in black ink by the QC inspector by crossing out the affected dimensions and noting the new dimensions.
All crossed out dimensions shall have initial and date. On empletion of "As-Built" weld verification, QC inspector shall sign off and date on appropriate box.
(See Attachment 1) 3.3 DEINEERIlG EVALUATION (a) 'Ihe QC inspector's weld length, type and size verification shall be considered as final in a case of a difference between the measurement of welding technician and QC inspector.
(b) 'Ihe engineer shall revise the Cable Tray Hanger "As-Built" Weld Map Drawing to incorporate actual weld size, type and length. This revised "As-Built" Weld Map Drawing shall be transmitted to DCC.
