Catawba Nucicar Station Docket Nos. 50-413 and 50-414 McGuire Nuclear Station Docket Nos. 50-369 and 50-370 Safety Parameter Display System Gentlemen:
On February 18, 1988, Duke submitted the implementation dates for the upgrade to the Safety Parameter Display System (SPDS) at the Catawba and McGuire Nuclear Stations. To ensure the modifications are completed on each station's unit at approximstely the same time, the implementation dates for each unit have been revised. The new implementation dates are as follows:
McGuire 1 - End of Cycle 6 [ Currently scheduled for 2/8/90 - 4/9/90)
McCuire 2 - End of Cycle 5 [ Currently scheduled for 7/1/89 - 8/25/89]
Catawba 1 - December 8, 1989 Catawba 2 - December 8, 1989 Please note the Catawba 2 implementation date is dependent upon a License Candition amendment request submitted September 14, 1988.
