This letter refers to the routine, safety inspection conducted by
Mr. H. F. van Kessel of this of fice on September 12-23, Ifue ,it Limerick
Nuclear Generating Station Unit 2 of activities authorized L; FRC 1icense
No. CPPR-107. Mr. van Kessel discussed the results of the in2pection with
Mr. W. T. Ullrich and other members of your staff at the conclusion of the

inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
,
Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas,
the inspection consisted of selective examination of procedures and represen-
tative records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
