DEGRADED GRID VOLTAGE PROCEDURES Re: Millstone Nuclear Power Station, Unit No. 1 f

By letter dated October 9, 1985, you submitted Degraded Grid Voltage Procedures to be used under non-accident conditions at the Millstone, Unit 1, facility. ,

The submittal fulfilled commitments made in your letters dated January 17, and June 11, 1984. Our review considered the most recent revision, Revision 23, to the operating procedure (OP 340), in place of Revision 21. We have concluded that the interim degraded grid voltage procedures (until the final degraded grid protection modifications are completed during the 1987 refueling outage) are acceptable.

A copy of our safety evaluation is enclosed.
