Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.91(b), State Consultation, I am notifying you that the NRC staff is currently processing an amendment for the Catawba Nuclear Power Station, Unit No. 1. The NRC staff has determined that the amendment request involves no significant hazards consideration. The analysis on the issue of no significant hazards consideration is published in the Federal Register as shown in the table.

Plant EPID No. Accession # FR Page Description Catawba L-2019- ML19183A038, 84 FR 59657 The proposed amendment revises 0141 as November 05, the Catawba, Unit 1, Technical supplemented 2019 Specification (TS) 3.4.3, RCS by Pressure and Temperature (P/T)

ML20044C924 Limits, to reflect an update to the P/T limit curves in Figures 3.4.3-1 (Unit 1 only) and 3.4.3-2 (Unit 1 only). The proposed change will also reflect that the revised Catawba, Unit 1 P/T limit curves in TS 3.4.3 are applicable until 42.7 effective full power years (EFPY).

Although the proposed change only impacts Catawba, Unit 1, the TS are common to both units.
