Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.91(b), State Consultation, I am notifying you that the NRC staff is currently processing an amendment for the Catawba Nuclear Power Station, Unit No. 1. The NRC staff has determined that the amendment request involves no significant hazards consideration. The analysis on the issue of no significant hazards consideration is published in the Federal Register as shown in the table.

FR Page Description Catawba L-2019-0141 ML19183A038, as supplemented by ML20044C924 84 FR 59657 November 05, 2019 The proposed amendment revises the Catawba, Unit 1, Technical Specification (TS) 3.4.3, RCS Pressure and Temperature (P/T)
Limits, to reflect an update to the P/T limit curves in Figures 3.4.3-1 (Unit 1 only) and 3.4.3-2 (Unit 1 only). The proposed change will also reflect that the revised Catawba, Unit 1 P/T limit curves in TS 3.4.3 are applicable until 42.7 effective full power years (EFPY).
Although the proposed change only impacts Catawba, Unit 1, the TS are common to both units.
