[External_Sender] Docket ID NRC-2018-0052 Draft Environmental Impact Statement Comment I am Joseph Casadone from Santa Fe, New Mexico.

I want to respond to the Draft Environmental Impact Statement regarding Holtec Internationals application for a license to build and operate a Consolidated Interim Storage Facility for Spent Nuclear Fuel and High Level Waste. If an accident of high-level radioactive occurs, it would be catastrophic to my county and state.

We have schools, churches, homes and businesses along the transport route, as do many other towns and cities, and we do not consent to the transport of radioactive waste through the country.

Given this amount of uncertainty about such an exacting and dangerous project, we in New Mexico oppose the transport of nuclear waste through our state and its storage.
