Dear Ms. Chen:
By letter dated March 6, 2020 [1], NRC staff requested additional information (RAIs) needed to complete their detailed technical review of HI-STORM 100 Amendment 15 to the Certificate of Compliance No. 1014. Holtec responded to the RAI on April 28, 2020. Subsequent to the RAI response submittal, the NRC and Holtec had conversations to provide clarification on the responses May 12th 2020. Conversations Record [3] outlines the discussion and request for clarifying information. to this letter contains the clarification information to the response to RAI 8-1 in a proprietary version. Attachment 2 contains the clarification information in a non-proprietary version. Holtec considers information in Attachment 1 to be proprietary information; therefore, to this letter is an affidavit prepared in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 requesting
