APPLICATION FOR RENEWAL 0F NRC SPECIAL NUCLEAR MATERIALS LICENSE SNM-942 By this letter, we request that the NRC Special Nuclear Materials License, SNM-942 (Docket 70-984), granted to Battelle, Pacific Northwest Laboratories of the Battelle Memorial Institute, be renewed for a period of 5 years.
Enclosed are 12 copies of PNL-5848, Application For Renewal of NRC Special Nuclear Materials License SNM-942. Previous applications were assigned document numbers BNWL-CC-284 and PNL-MA-527.
As requested, PNL-5848 has been prepared, as much as possible, according to NRC Regulatory Guide 3.52, Standard Format and Content For The Health and Safety Sections of License Renewal Applications for Uranium Fuel Fabrication Plants. This document, PNL-5848, is intended to contain all application requirements for renewal of the existing license and does not refer to any portion of the previous applications.
Also enclosed is a check for $150.00 to cover the renewal appiftation fee.
